Students who successfully complete the KWU DBA degree program will be equipped to work in senior level managerial roles in a global business environment.
- KWU DBA graduates may choose to pursue career paths in management consulting, become entrepreneurs, or apply their new knowledge and expertise to benefit the companies and organizations where they currently work.

- Successful completion of the KWU DBA program also provides graduates with the credentials required to apply for many teaching, research and administrative positions available in the field of higher education.

Entrepreneurship
There are more than twenty-seven million small businesses in the United States. According to the U.S. Small Business Administration, small businesses generate about 50 percent of the country’s gross domestic product (GDP).
New research published by the International Trade Centre (a joint agency of the United Nations and the World Trade Organization), found that small and medium-sized enterprises also play a major role in the global economy, accounting for approximately 70% of all formal jobs worldwide.
KWU’s DBA with a concentration in Entrepreneurship enables those interested in teaching and research to develop advanced analytical and research skills in this important field.
Students interested in starting or growing their own businesses will gain valuable practical skills and insights into financing entrepreneurial ventures, entrepreneurial marketing, social entrepreneurship and managing innovation.
International Management
S&P Dow Jones Indices report that nearly half of sales of S&P 500 companies come from overseas. Several industries that are key to the U.S. economy- including technology, energy and heavy equipment, generate roughly half or more of their total sales beyond U.S. borders.
Rapid transformation of the business environment due to globalization and technology has resulted in the need for businesses to become more agile. Multinational companies must be responsive to the changing demands of customers in international markets.
Pursuing a DBA in International Management enables KWU students to research and apply their understanding of how cross-cultural communication, international finance, e-commerce, logistics and supply chain management, project management and human resources impact the success of global businesses.
Admissions Requirements
Individuals seeking admission to KWU’s DBA program must have a minimum of five years of professional work experience, and have completed an MBA or Master’s degree in a business-related field with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
